sometimes in life you face times when you are helpless....you dont know what to do....you feel the whole world is against you....even the most near and dear ones whom you care for dont think on the same lines as you....
In these circumstances what does a person do....does he stick to his principals in life or does he be flexible.... does he take a short cut cuz tat seems to be the only way out or let go of the path he had thought of.....
I am facing a similar situation in my life where one of my dear ones is taking a wrong decision in her life, so wat do i do..... i tried and convinced her tat what she was doing was wrong but as they say sometimes a person's judgement is so blinded by their illusions that they fail to see the reality.... i can see her destroying her life but am helpless cuz she wont listen to me....
Helpless is wat you feel in this kind of situation..... the only thing i feel i can do is try convincing her tat she is wrong once, twice but after that its her destiny.... she is educated, cultured and mature enough to take her decision in life.... so with a prayer on my lips and emotions in my heart i pray to good tat all turns out well...

Love
What is Love?
Looking at the way relationships in modern day function....love has found a altogether new meaning....Do one night stands or frivilous relationships indicate modern day love....
Love for me is something which one cannot define but only experience.....love is as intangible as your first kiss, your first kiss, your first crush.....It is said that people never forget their first crush....the reason for this is tat when you experience it your mind is focussed on the individual and not his physical characteristics.....
Love in the purest sense can be found in the eyes of a mother for his child....no matter how badly the child behaves, he or she stilll remains the same in the mother's eyes....love for a mother is selfless, with no expectations and out of affection of her own...it cannot be defined in words....that for me would be the purest definition of love.... somethin done for a person without any expectations.....jus dedicating yourself completely to that person out of love.....
So to experience love one needs to be patient....stumble a thousand times but be willing to get up....for the need to find someone who shares the same goals, ambitions and outlook towards life is not only difficult but impossible....so dont look for tat perfect guy or gal but for someone who sees you in the correct light and respects you for what you are not what what you should be....
someone who loves you not because you have a lot of money but you as a individual....
People who find their true love are the real lucky ones and for those unfortunate ones as the saying goes "someone somewhere is made for you".....:) so moving from the filmy stuff to the real stuff...... i end with my philosophy about love in the following sentence......
Love the soul not physical apperance cuz what remains in the end is the soul and not the physical self....

Happy Independence Day
Happy is wat i am to write on being a part of free and independent india...But do we respect our freedom and are we really free in the true sense.....
I will address the first part of ther question first......One of the pillars of freedom is media free of any restrictions and interventions.....Recently there was a article in outlook magazine in which Mr Bal Thackeray was compared to Adolf Hitler whom he holds in high esteem( as said by him in his daily "Samna"......What was the reaction of Shiv Sena to this?......they went and ransacked the outlook magazine's office.......Is this the kind of reaction which we as Indian's after 60 years of independence deserve? We all watch innumberable pictures on father of our nation and want to follow his principles..... Is this the kind of reaction he would have expected? But who is to blame for this? dont we vote for the same people when the elections come around??? Why?
Dont we need better public representatives....As they say"Man is a master of his own misery, we are subject to this misery cuz of our own doing"
Do we respect of our freeedom? How do we define freedom? I would define freedom as expression views, ideas and feeling without any restrictions and compulsions.....We have freedom so we litter, we have freedom so we fight amongst overselves on communal biases....we have freedom so our esteemed politicians waste our well earned money in the highest house of democracy.....we have freedom so we have cases like jessica lal, nitish katara where justice is suppressed cuz the culprit is know to a well known politician....
As India moves in the growth path of 10% GDP and one of the powerhouses of the world we as Indians need to respect what the nation has given to us and have the same self respect towards our nation which our freedom fighters thought of......And it is on us "the youth of india" to realise that we are on the threshold of something great and exiting and overcome whatever roadblock comes in our way to the path of complete fulfilment
As it is said "Your attitude in life determines your altitude in life" we need to have the same kind of patriotic attitude towards our nation.....

Rat Race or My Own Race
Hey all.....this is my first blog so excuse me if i am not that good....have started this blog to express my views and ideas on a lot of things which i care about....I am going to share my experiences, views and ideas and would expect your ideas, views and feedback....You dont need to agree or disagree but please do let me know whatever you feel about it....So with a prayer in my heart and dreams in my eyes here i go.....
Rat Race or My Own Race
Everyone in life aspires to do something or wants to live a dream....Few people have the guts and strength to go all the way to achieve it....What my experience says "People have ideas, views and dreams to aspire for but what stops them from achieving them is the rat mentality within all of us...everyone wants to be a rat and be ahead of the rest of the people...Very few people have the mental wherewithal to break away from the tried and tested and pursue their dreams....When we are born we all want to be "Doctors, Engineers, Pilots, Teachers"...We feel we want to be these people either cuz our mom and dad told us to be them or cuz we interact with them daily and aspire to be them....When we ask a kid why she wants to be a doctor she says she wants to be a doctor cuz she wants to help the poor but as and when you grow up you this dream grows for a toss for a variety of reasons....Studies, money, family pressure....Wat goes out of the window is the social part of our dream.....
As and when we start working we want to grow fast in the organization we work for...have the best house...have the best cars.....have the best of everythin material in life....do we ever stop 2 think of people around us.... we are always taught that people are poor cuz they want to be poor... be rich and everythin will fall in place....Health will be good if your rich....Work hard and party harder but be selfish....We all want to be the hare in the race but does anybody think who wins in the long run....is not the tortoise????
If you ask me what the most cherised and enriching moments in my life were i would say the time i spent with the kids of a ngo on a field trip or the happiness i get when i donate some money to a charity.....
So the only thing i would like to say is "Stop think before its too late and you be a rat in the rat race"
As the say "In a rat race....whether you or win or lose at the end of it what you are is a BIG RAT"
Would substantiate my views with some examples the next time on....
