A new year awaits me....Want to learn from my mistakes from my past year and move on with my life....When i look at the year gone by and the learnings i have had i feel i have gained more than i have lost....
Some prime learnings.....
1)Don't expect anything in a relationship and you will be happy(learn to give and not expect anything.....)
2)Keep emotions at home when you come to work (which has been very difficult for me)
3)You cant choose your parents and your boss (so grin and bear it)
4)Smile and the world smiles with you, cry and you cry alone (trust me it works)
5)Don't break hearts or someone else will break yours (life is a complete circle)
6)No matter how hard you work there will be some idiot who earns 10 times more than you and has nothing to show for his work (be content for what you have and not grumpy for what you don't have)
7)Stay in touch with basics of your life....(mine are family, friends and prayers )
8)Don't overdo things(don't be too happy when you achieve something or too sad when you lose....)
9)Take life as it comes but believe in prayers (believe in destiny but work hard for your goals)
10)No one in life is perfect so accept them as they are (there is no perfect girl....sigh)
11)Have a large heart (people help you only if you help them without expecting anything)
and finally
12)Believe in your dreams and keep on working towards it consciously or sub consciously and they surely will come true (remember if you believe in something the whole world conspires to give it to you...it works....trust me).....
Thanks a ton for reading my blogs....see ya....till i send a new one again....have a happy festive season.....

Life....
Hey life.....
You can test my fears
But not stop me from bravado
You can break my heart
But not stop me from loving
You can hurt my feelings
But not make me emotionless
You can give me nightmares
But not stop me from dreaming
You can trample all over me
But not stop me from smiling
You can remove all my memories
But not stop me from remembering
You can stop me from winning
But not stop me from from trying
hey life....bring on what you got
But not stop me from getting what i want
You can test my fears
But not stop me from bravado
You can break my heart
But not stop me from loving
You can hurt my feelings
But not make me emotionless
You can give me nightmares
But not stop me from dreaming
You can trample all over me
But not stop me from smiling
You can remove all my memories
But not stop me from remembering

Wandering Soul
Hey wandering soul
Why the frustration?
Why the irritation?
Hey wandering soul
Why the sadness?
Why the feeling of loss?
Hey wandering soul
What do you need?
What do you desire?
Hey wandering soul
Stop being a fool
Open your eyes
Look around you
See the light
Hey wandering soul
Come back home
Rest at peace
Feel the love
Why the frustration?
Why the irritation?
Hey wandering soul
Why the sadness?
Why the feeling of loss?
Hey wandering soul
What do you need?
What do you desire?
Hey wandering soul
Stop being a fool
Open your eyes
Look around you
See the light
Hey wandering soul
Come back home
Rest at peace
Feel the love

Someday...
Beautiful as a butterfly
Wanting to flutter away
Pretty like a lady
Wanting to adore away
Innocent as a child
Wanting to cuddle away
Brave as a soldier
Wanting to fight away
Bright as a sun
Wanting to blind away
Cool as the moonlight
Wanting to sleep away
Bottled like a prisoner
Wanting to break away
That my lady is my love
Wanting you to feel someday
Wanting to flutter away
Pretty like a lady
Wanting to adore away
Innocent as a child
Wanting to cuddle away
Brave as a soldier
Wanting to fight away
Bright as a sun
Wanting to blind away
Cool as the moonlight
Wanting to sleep away
Bottled like a prisoner
Wanting to break away
That my lady is my love
Wanting you to feel someday

Written by a Pakistani journalist about India
Nice read....

Here's what is happening in India :
The two Ambani brothers can buy 100 percent of every company listed on the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) and would still be left with $30 billion to spare. The four richest Indians can buy up all goods and services produced over a year by 169 million Pakistanis and still be left with $60 billion to spare. The four richest Indians are now richer than the forty richest Chinese.
In November, Bombay Stock Exchange's benchmark Sensex flirted with 20,000 points. As a consequence, Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries became a $100 billion company (the entire KSE is capitalized at $65 billion). Mukesh owns 48 percent of Reliance.
In November, comes Neeta's birthday. Neeta turned forty-four three weeks ago. Look what she got from her husband as her birthday present:
A sixty-million dollar jet with a custom fitted master bedroom, bathroom with mood lighting, a sky bar, entertainment cabins, satellite television, wireless communication and a separate cabin with game consoles. Neeta is Mukesh Ambani's wife, and Mukesh is not India 's richest but the second richest.
Mukesh is now building his new home, Residence Antillia (after a mythical, phantom island somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean ). At a cost of $1 billion this would be the most expensive home on the face of the planet. At 173 meters tall Mukesh's new family residence, for a family of six, will be the equivalent of a 60-storeyed building. The first six floors are reserved for parking. The seventh floor is for car servicing and maintenance. The eighth floor houses a mini-theatre. Then there's a health club, a gym and a swimming pool. Two floors are reserved for Ambani family's guests. Four floors above the guest floors are family floors all with a superb view of the Arabian Sea . On top of everything are three helipads. A staff of 600 is expected to care for the family and their family home.
In 2004, India became the 3rd most attractive foreign direct investment destination.. Pakistan wasn't even in the top 25 countries.
In 2004, the United Nations, the representative body of 192 sovereign member states, had requested the Election Commission of India to assist the UN in the holding elections in Al Jumhuriyah al Iraqiyah and Dowlat-e Eslami-ye Afghanestan. Why the Election Commission of India and not the Election Commission of Pakistan? After all, Islamabad is closer to Kabul than is Delhi.
Imagine, 12 percent of all American scientists are of Indian origin; 38 percent of doctors in America are Indian; 36 percent of NASA scientists are Indians; 34 percent of Microsoft employees are Indians; and 28 percent of IBM employees are Indians.
For the record: Sabeer Bhatia created and founded Hotmail...
Sun Microsystems was founded by Vinod Khosla.
The Intel Pentium processor, that runs 90 percent of all computers, was fathered by Vinod Dham.
Rajiv Gupta co-invented Hewlett Packard's E-speak project. Four out of ten Silicon Valley start-ups are run by Indians.
Bollywood produces 800 movies per year and six Indian ladies have won Miss Universe/Miss World titles over the past 10 years.
For the record: Azim Premji, the richest Muslim entrepreneur on the face of the planet, was born in Bombay and now lives in Bangalore.India now has more than three dozen billionaires; Pakistan has none (not a single dollar billionaire) .
The other amazing aspect is the rapid pace at which India is creating wealth. In 2002, Dhirubhai Ambani, Mukesh and Anil Ambani's father, left his two sons a fortune worth $2.8 billion. In 2007, their combined wealth stood at $94 billion. On 29 October 2007, as a result of the stock market rally and the appreciation of the Indian rupee, Mukesh became the richest person in the world, with net worth climbing to US$63.2 billion (Bill Gates, the richest American, stands at around $56 billion). Indians and Pakistanis have the same Y-chromosome haplogroup. We have the same genetic sequence and the same genetic marker (namely: M124).
We have the same DNA molecule, the same DNA sequence. Our culture, our traditions and our cuisine are all the same. We watch the same movies and sing the same songs. What is it that Indians have and we don't?
INDIANS ELECT THEIR LEADERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And also to mention: They think of Construction of own nation, unlike other nations who are just concerned with destruction of others...
Simple answer why the Indian fare better than the Pakis'.. They don't focus on religion and neither do they spend time and money in devising ways to kill their own and everyone else over religion.

Bucket List...Must Watch

Watched a movie called "Bucket List"....
The movie stars two terminally ill men who share a hospital room (played by two of the best - Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman), define a list of things to do before they 'kick the bucket'. Together, they stretch the limits of their worldly experiences and rekindle their hearts along the way.
Awesome movie with lots of real life changing quotes....
One famous interlude between Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson goes as follows:-
Morgan Freeman “You know, the ancient Egyptians had a beautiful belief about death. When their souls got to the entrance to heaven, the guards asked two questions. Their answers determined whether they were able to enter or not.
Have you found joy in your life?’
Jack Nicholson "Yes i have"
Morgan Freeman "Has your life brought joy to others?’”
Jack Nicholson goes blank for a few minutes....
So true isn't it....
So easy to answer the 1st question and so difficult to answer the 2nd question....
Worth Pondering.....

You made me......
A poem from the heart......:)
You made me smile
When I need it the most
You made me fight
When I had given it all up
You showed me the way out
When all I saw was a maze
You saw some good in me
When all I could see was flaws
You shared all my sorrow
When I need it the most
You made me see light
When all I saw was dark
You made me believe in love
When I had given up all hope
You made me smile
When I need it the most
You made me fight
When I had given it all up
You showed me the way out
When all I saw was a maze
You saw some good in me

You shared all my sorrow
When I need it the most

Never was gonna be easy......so "Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish"
I always knew life never behaves the way you want to....It takes its twists and turns and all your plans go for a toss....
How many times do we feel that we have things under control and wham out of the blue comes something which shakes you completely and everything is chaos then...
One such thing is life at work IE:- your career...no matter how much you plan your career, there will be twists and turns which will take you to places you never thought of...
Was reading a book on Entrepreneurship titled "Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish"....It has stories about IIM pass outs and how they managed to carve a niche out for themselves in their career and dared to be different....
One common thing which ran through the book was the passion or madness which drove them to be different and thereby have a effect on the society...some of them struggled for years altogether to be where they are now....but they kept going believing in the idea they had....
How many of us have the guts to take the least taken path....am sure most of us don't...
Would recommend anyone who wants to start their own business or is crazy enough to make a living about something unique to read this book....
As they say "If you wanna buy a Mercedes, have your own business"
And someday i will.....Amen.......

A Eternal dilemma.....
Ek bholi ladki thi, bewkoof si anjani si
Dil who saaf thi aur pyar uska paak tha
Uske man mein thi ek tasveer rajkumar ki
Ek din use mila ek kauva jo bola “main tera rajkumar”
Ladki boli “Ja kauve mera rajkumar to sundar hai, tu kitna kala hai”
Kauva bola “Hum kale hain to kya hua hum dil ke rajkumar hain”
Lakdi boli “Dil ka main achar daloongi, dil se bill nahin barta”
Kauva ruthke apne main pyar liye chala gaya
Phir ek din us lakdi ko ek sundar mor mila jo bola “main tera rajkumar”
Ladki boli “Haan tu mera rajkumar”
Mor bola “Mera bill baregi na”
Lakdi boli “Dil dega to bill baroongi”
Mor bola “Theek”
Aur who ladki ek compromise wali zindagi jeene lagi
So kaun acha “Kauva ki Mor”….

When nothing seems right
A poem for a special friend of mine going through some bad times.....
When nothing seems right
……..and the entire world is against you
When whatever you do goes wrong
……..and you feel lost
When there is no one standing by you
……..and you feel alone
When the entire world goes by
……..and you feel stuck at a single place
When you want to cry
……..and there is no shoulder to cry on
When you feel there is no one to fall back on
……..and you feel weak
Just remember every great man
…….had to fall before he could rise
Every diamond was coal before
…….it was discovered
The night is the darkest
…….before there is light
Every dark cloud
……..has a silver lining
So my friend don’t give up
….…rise, smile and fight
Cuz a fighter never loses
…….and a loser never fights
When nothing seems right
……..and the entire world is against you
When whatever you do goes wrong
……..and you feel lost
When there is no one standing by you
……..and you feel alone
When the entire world goes by
……..and you feel stuck at a single place
When you want to cry

Right to Education Bill...A step in the right direction
Parliament has adopted 'The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Bill, 2009,’ which envisages free and compulsory education to children in the 6-14 age group with the Lok Sabha approving it by voice vote on Tuesday. The Rajya Sabha passed the Bill on July 20.
Some salient features of the bill....
1)Once the President gives assent to the Bill, getting education would be a fundamental right of every child.
2) The law would ensure that the child got free, compulsory and quality education by qualified teachers.
3) The curriculum would be less rigorous and it would ensure all-round development of children.
4)While 25 per cent of seats in every private school would be allocated for children from disadvantaged groups including differently-abled children at the entry level, as far as minority institutions were concerned up to 50 per cent of those seats could be offered to students from their communities.
Out of every 100 children attending elementary school only 12 reached the graduation level; in Europe it was 50-70 (students reaching college from the elementary level) and the global average 27. The Centre plans to increase India’s average to 15 by 2012 and to 30-35 by 2020.
My comments:
If India wants to be the superpower of the world...education has to be key....looking at the standard of education in public schools makes me feel disheartened at wat we are doing with our future...hope all that the bill envisages fructifies in the future...but surely a step in the right direction...way 2 go Mr Sibal....Wish all other ministers are as proactive as u....

Poem for a special friend....
A poem for a special friend of mine who has moved on in life....All the best mate.....:)
Dear friend, forgive me
I could not be what you meant me to be
Cuz I failed to understand your feelings for me
Losing you means a lot to me
Cuz getting a friend like you meant the world to me
I respect your decision to leave me
Cuz I want you to be happy even without me
I am sorry for all the hurt I gave
But do remember me for all the good in me
Dear friend....do forgive me
Dear friend, forgive me
I could not be what you meant me to be
Cuz I failed to understand your feelings for me
Losing you means a lot to me
Cuz getting a friend like you meant the world to me
I respect your decision to leave me

Sach ka Samna - Crap in form of reality television......

Just out of curiosity managed to watch some episodes of "Sach ka Samna". A show based on reality show "Moment of Truth" where contestants are asked some personal questions on their life and they win money if they answer correctly.
Made me think whether i would do the same for money....
Some Thoughts which went through my mind:
1) Are people so perverted(some people call it guts!!!) that they open their life in front of unknown people?
2)Or are we more perverted that we watch other people telling their secrets?
3)Is money more important than alienating people in our life?
4)It is your secret but what about the other people involved in your secret?
5)What is more important in life....facing the truth and alienating everyone close to you or having a clean conscience knowing that what you did was correct in the circumstances?
Everyone has their secrets but is it necessary that you face it for money.
Phew!!! I dont have the motivation to face the truth nor the guts to reveal my secrets in front of National Television....
Kudos to who do it and those who watch it!!!

Life and Season
Was thinking about life and its relation to season came to my mind...Jus putting some thoughts to it....do read
Life is
....Hot summer which sweats you up
readying you up for a major challenge
....Pothole filled rain which creates problems
testing your resolve to face them
....Unbearable cold which makes you give up
and go to sleep
....Fresh spring which comes only once
you pass through all the seasons
....But if life would have been as predictable
As the seasons would it have been any fun.....

You were my friend when there was none
Miss you friend...May you rest in peace
Thanks for being there when i needed you the most

A saying for the times we face
A famous saying by Abraham Lincoln....most relevant in current times....
"It is said an Eastern monarch once charged his wise men to invent him a sentence to be ever in view, and which should be true and appropriate in all times and situations. They presented him the words: 'And this, too, shall pass away.' How much it expresses! How chastening in the hour of pride! How consoling in the depths of affliction!"

We are jus friends!!!!
If ever, there was a statement i hate, this would be it..."We are jus friends"
A poem to share my thoughts...
We are jus friends
Dont I make you laugh and smile
Cuz i am funniest guy you ever met
Dont you love speaking to me and listening to my stupid jokes
Cuz i have a great sense of humour
Dont you confide in me your most private of thoughts and feelings
Cuz i am the guy you trust the most
Dont you wake me up at two in the night
Cuz you need help and there is nowhere to go
Dont you tell me stories about your boyfriends
Cuz you need my advice on how to handle them
Dont you think i have emotions
Cuz i am as human as you are
But....does it all really matter....cuz "we are jus friends"....Aint We...

Gulaal - A Must Watch
If ever there was a director who believes in making films which will be called "Cult" in the years forward then it has to be Anurag Kashyap.
Was anxiously waiting to watch "Gulaal" after seeing "Dev D" and to be very fair it did not disappoint me. From the start to end the movie is based on murky dark world of student politics. The treatment of the director does not make the movie a art movie but a gripping movie with lots of twists and turns.
The music of the movie as expected was very unusual( not in the same league as Dev D) but neverthless a album worth listening. The music forms a integral part of the movie and integrates well with movie. Piyush Mishra desrves full credit for the movie and he potrays a important character in the movie as well.
The cast of the movie is awesome with Kay Kay Menon leading the pack, a strong performace as expected from him. All the other characters are also very well interpreted and well etched out.
Wont get into the details of the story as it has a lots of twists and turns incorporating student politics, education, ragging and other pet peeves.
Watch this movie if you want to watch something which is out of the ordinary and exceptional. Take a bow to the director for trying to tread a path out of the ordinary. Wish we had more directors like him.

A poem in my head....."If life was so straight"
If life was so straight
Would we all not be Einstein’s?
If life was so straight
Would we feel distraught on failure?
If life was so straight
Would we feel happy at success?
If life was so straight
Would we have any emotions other than laughter and tears?
If life was so straight
Would we have any terrorists?
If life was so straight
Would we have any reason to wake up in the morning?
If life was so straight
Would not all of us be the same?
If life was to be so straight
Would god have given us a brain?
Would we all not be Einstein’s?
If life was so straight
Would we feel distraught on failure?
If life was so straight
Would we feel happy at success?
If life was so straight

Jai Ho - AR Rehman
AR Rahman has done the nation proud by winning the Oscars...
As Neil Armstrong...the 1st man to land on moon said..."That's one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind"...i believe by what AR Rahman has done it can be said..."A small song for a musician, one giant leap for a nation"...Another step towards India being recognised as a super power of the future...
A person who is modest, works hard with dedication towards his work and leaves the rest to god...truly a great human being...tats wat AR Rahman personifies...
Way to go...

Love Actually
Love Actually means....
......laughing when you want to cry
......sacrifice in time of need
......not being yourself for a change
......being happy over small pleasures
......being polite even when you are irritated
......falling sick at work so tat you can go out on a date
......being patient till the right one comes along
......believing someone somewhere is made for you
......going through times good and bad together
......letting go even when you are heartbroken
......wishing happiness even though the other person has been cruel
......the most beautiful thing in the world
......laughing when you want to cry
......sacrifice in time of need
......not being yourself for a change

IF
My first attempt at writing a poem....hope its gud...do comment....
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If
……you want to cry and you have no one to fall back on
……you want to reach work early and your train is late
……you want to leave work early and your boss asks you to stay late
……you have to part with something and you don’t want to give it away
……you are forced to take something and you don't desire it anyway
……you want to find the love of your life and can’t find one
……you want to be rich but can’t find an easy way to be one
……you are single and it’s Valentines Day
……it’s your birthday party and you’re still lonely
……you can’t understand the mystery life is
Jus smile and look above thinking of the word “Destiny”and all your IF's go away

Hooliganism in the name of morals.....
Please do watch this video on the blog……
I always believed I belong to a country where women are respected and treated as goddess.....looking at the video in which women in a pub were mercilessly beaten by some idiots (called moral police) made me realize how wrong i am....this is not a isolated incident but a manifestation of times we live in...We have a Sri Ram Sena in every nook and corner of our country
I hope and pray tat our country becomes a superpower in its deeds and not in words... where women are placed at the same pedestal as men....

Stumped...true face of modern day television media
In the aftermath of 26/11...there has been a lot of scorn which has been heaped on the broadcasting media and its locus standi....i recently read a very interesting and funny article in DNA which potrays how our modern day hindi news channels operate and how big a farce they are....thought of sharing with you guys...
The writer in question played cricket in his school and college days and his name is Kiran Tare...read on about his experience with the modern day broadcasting media...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stumped by my name
By Kiran Tare
Cricket is my passion. I used to play a lot of cricket in school and college days. Today, despite a busy schedule I spare some time to play cricket (thanks to the internet). But I never expected there would be a time when someone will ask my comments as a cricket expert.
Last week, one fine morning, I got a call on my mobile phone. "Kiran Sir, J bol raha hoon ........ (a news channel) se," the caller introduced himself. I was not surprised as normally a lot of TV reporters call me asking for someone's contact number. "Bolo bhai", I replied in my trademark style to such calls. The guy informed me that Sachin Tendulkar had not been featured in the ICC's top 20 one day players.
I was unaware that ICC had released such a list of top players. I casually said, "Sachin
did not play much one-dayers last year. So it is possible that he is not in the top 20."
J corrected himself and said, "Sir, the list is about test players and Mathew Hayden has been rated above Sachin." I was surprised and said, "Sachin should be in the list at the top."
Happy with my comments, J asked me to hold the line for a minute. For next two minutes I heard music on the phone. During that time, I switched on the TV and turned to the news channel in question to see what the list was about.A special programme criticising theICC's rankings was being aired .
Suddenly, I heard the anchor's voice on my TV set and the mobile at the same time. She asked, "Kiranji kya aapko lagta hain, Sachin ke saath anyay hua hain?" I was completely stunned with the question. I did not think that J will put me on for the phone.
It was surreal. I realised that something had gone wrong. So I did not reply to her question. She repeated the question and I again remained silent. Frustrated she said, "Lagta hain purva cricketer Kiran More se hamara sampark tut gaya hain."
I could not stop laughing after hearing her remarks. I do not know whether they contacted the real Kiran More and got his comments, but I certainly lost my 15 seconds of fame.
I remember Kiran More mostly for his three jumps like a frog teasing Javed Miandad in a World Cup match in Australia. Now, I feel I also should jump in the same manner teasing myself for not being a cricketer. At least, there will be some kind of similarity between us apart from the name, Kkkkkiran.

So guys next time you hear someone's voice on television he/she might not be whom you think he/she is......

Letter written by President Obama to his daughters

US President Obama and his family
Dear Malia and Sasha,
I know that you've both had a lot of fun these last two years on the campaign trail, going to picnics and parades and state fairs, eating all sorts of junk food your mother and I probably shouldn't have let you have. But I also know that it hasn't always been easy for you and Mom, and that as excited as you both are about that new puppy, it doesn't make up for all the time we've been apart. I know how much I've missed these past two years, and today I want to tell you a little more about why I decided to take our family on this journey.
When I was a young man, I thought life was all about me-about how I'd make my way in the world, become successful, and get the things I want. But then the two of you came into my world with all your curiosity and mischief and those smiles that never fail to fill my heart and light up my day. And suddenly, all my big plans for myself didn't seem so important anymore. I soon found that the greatest joy in my life was the joy I saw in yours. And I realized that my own life wouldn't count for much unless I was able to ensure that you had every opportunity for happiness and fulfillment in yours. In the end, girls, that's why I ran for President: because of what I want for you and for every child in this nation.
I want all our children to go to schools worthy of their potential-schools that challenge them, inspire them, and instill in them a sense of wonder about the world around them. I want them to have the chance to go to college-even if their parents aren't rich. And I want them to get good jobs: jobs that pay well and give them benefits like health care, jobs that let them spend time with their own kids and retire with dignity.
I want us to push the boundaries of discovery so that you'll live to see new technologies and inventions that improve our lives and make our planet cleaner and safer. And I want us to push our own human boundaries to reach beyond the divides of race and region, gender and religion that keep us from seeing the best in each other.
Sometimes we have to send our young men and women into war and other dangerous situations to protect our country-but when we do, I want to make sure that it is only for a very good reason, that we try our best to settle our differences with others peacefully, and that we do everything possible to keep our servicemen and women safe. And I want every child to understand that the blessings these brave Americans fight for are not free-that with the great privilege of being a citizen of this nation comes great responsibility.
That was the lesson your grandmother tried to teach me when I was your age, reading me the opening lines of the Declaration of Independence and telling me about the men and women who marched for equality because they believed those words put to paper two centuries ago should mean something.
She helped me understand that America is great not because it is perfect but because it can always be made better-and that the unfinished work of perfecting our union falls to each of us. It's a charge we pass on to our children, coming closer with each new generation to what we know America should be.
I hope both of you will take up that work, righting the wrongs that you see and working to give others the chances you've had. Not just because you have an obligation to give something back to this country that has given our family so much-although you do have that obligation. But because you have an obligation to yourself. Because it is only when you hitch your wagon to something larger than yourself that you will realize your true potential.
These are the things I want for you-to grow up in a world with no limits on your dreams and no achievements beyond your reach, and to grow into compassionate, committed women who will help build that world. And I want every child to have the same chances to learn and dream and grow and thrive that you girls have. That's why I've taken our family on this great adventure.
I am so proud of both of you. I love you more than you can ever know. And I am grateful every day for your patience, poise, grace, and humor as we prepare to start our new life together in the White House.
Love, Dad
WISH WE HAD MORE POLITICIANS LIKE HIM IN INDIA
The great hope of the world and his inspiration
President Barack Obama....The guy who the world is betting on is being sworn tommorow...he has said that the great Abraham Lincoln was his inspiration...Find below a letter which Abraham Lincoln wrote to the headmaster of the school in which his son was studying...very thoughtful and inspiring.....
A letter written by Abraham Lincoln to the Headmaster of a school in which his son was studying. It contains an advice, which is still relevant today for executives, workers, teachers, parents and students.
A WORD TO TEACHERS
"He will have to learn, I know, that all men are not just and are not true. But teach him if you can, the wonder of books.. but also give him quiet time to ponder the eternal mystery of birds in the sky, bees in the sun and flowers on a green hillside.
In school, teach him it is far more honorable to fall than to cheat.....
Teach to have faith in his own ideas, even if everyone tells him he is wrong.
Teach him to be gentle with gentlepeople and tough with the tough.
Try to give my son the strength not to follow the crowd when everyone getting on the bandwagon...
Teach him to listen to all men; but teach him also to filter all he hears on a screen of truth, and take only the good that comes through.
Teach him, if you can, how to laugh when he is sad... Teach him there is no shame in tears.
Teach him to scoff at cynics and to be beware of too much sweetness.. Teach him to sell his brawn and brain to highest bidders, but never to put a price on his heart and soul. Teach him to close his ears to a howling mob.. and stand and fight if thinks he is right.
Treat him gently, but do not cuddle him, because only the test of fire makes fine steel. Let him have the courage to be impatient.. Let him have the patience to be brave. Teach him always to have sublime faith in himself, because then he will have faith in humankind.
This is a big order, but see what you can do. . He is such a fine little fellow my son!
- Abraham Lincoln"

Chandni chowk to hell.....

If there ever was a competition to "Ramgopal Varma ke Sholay" in the category of "Worst Movies in Bollywood" this is the movie one i would say can compete with it and give it a run for its money....
"Singh is King" pales in comparison to this movie in terms of non stop nonsense...The movie tries to swing between being a all out masala entertainer to a spoof and ends up being a over budget mess. In the bargain wat you get is a severe headache and feel like tearing you hair in desperation.....
Even though Akshay Kumar ably tries to save the movie with his timing and funny acts(they manage to enact a few laughs) but he too finds it difficult to carry a movie on his shoulders with more complexity and zero content...Deepika and Ranvir Shourey do shine in some parts...and not to forget Mithun Da who does his invincible acts in his typical style....
Dont want to talk about the story as it is one of the worst written screenplays i have ever seen....music and songs are also not worth writing about...
I am sure the only show which will be houseful is the one which i watched in (as the tickets were free and no one knew how bad the movie is..)
Please don't watch this movie unless you want to experience real bad visual and verbal diarrhoea....Don't spend on this movie...instead donate it for some good cause...

Aye Raju...kya kiya

Satyam's Ramalingam Raju
Everyone knows what he has done to the investors, entire IT industry and Indian industry as a whole...
Just a question....
If every crime has a motive....every confession has a bigger motive....worth pondering?
What made Raju confess? Is he being made a scapegoat for some bigger names?
