What makes me go around?
Its desire
Darkness I fear
Light I desire
Loss weakens me
Victory I desire
Helplessness prevails
Guidance I desire
Loneliness kills
A Hug I desire
Tears in eyes
Happiness I desire
Valentines Day is around
Love I desire……:)
What make me go around?
Desire, desire and more desire

Ishqiya.....a movie to watch out for.....

Nice movie....awesome story....bloody good songs....and award winning performances...watch it to believe it....
The best part about his movies are that he shows that movies can be made in India in some distant corner and still be successful....you need not go to new york or some blissful location to make a movie....what makes a movie is its content.....the best part of the movie is the scene where a character goes to a temple and moves out of the back door to go to a beauty parlour....so these activities are not limited to the cities alone and are present even in the smallest of locations.....
Am sure he is the next desi Quentin Tarentino......way to go....
Chetan Bhagat - The New Age Indian....
Recently attended an investor conferences organised by one of the reputed brokerage houses...as a part of the event they had organised a small one hour gyan session with Mr Chetan Bhagat....
The 1st thing that comes to your mind when you hear him speak is that he comes across as a sincere guy....He was not bombastic about how good a writer he is or how he has arrived in life....
The crux of the lecture on how he managed to be a writer was....
1) The 1st step is to find out what you like to do.....it might come from within with luck or it might come with struggle....but it will come if you are serious enough(as a kid he wanted to watch TV but his father being a army man was strict and never used to allow his kids to watch TV. So to circumvent this he and his brother used to makeup stories and narrate it to each other....tats how he got his knack of writing stories....
2) The 2nd step to moving on in life beyond your job is to realise that money is not the only thing but self actualisation is (he left his job as a director of a MNC bank to start writing cuz one day he realised how boring and irritating his life had become...he wrote his 1st novel at work)
3) The 3rd step to come out of our comfort zone is to convince your family....(it took him two years to convince his wife that he wanted to be a professional writer)
and finally he concluded saying....."Dont be serious....be sincere"
I normally am not fond of speeches but liked this session as what he said made sense and all of us in the room could relate to it.....
Wish all of us are able to do "Not what needs to be done but what we desire......."
