A very interesting story about...thinking long term....
Once a young kid went to a saree shop with his mom to buy a saree.
To ensure that the kid does not trouble his mom, the shopkeeper offered the kid some chocolates.
The kid refused....the shopkeeper offered again but the kid refused again.
The shopkeeper was surprised as none of the kids he had offered chocolates earlier refused them.
Finally getting frustated, the shopkeeper took some chocolates in his own hands and gave it to the kid.
The kid took the chocolates.
The mom of the kid who was watching all this was surprised and asked the kid...."Why did u not take the chocolates earlier on your own?"
The kid smiled and replied..."If i would have taken the chocolates with my own hands i would got only a few as my hands are small, but the shopkeepers hands are bigger and hence i got more chocolates when he gave it to me on his own....."
Moral of the story....Don't think short term but long term....
